Handwoven in Ojai by Kate Kilmurray, this plain‑weave trivet is made from woven cotton, wool and characteristic cotton sock‑loops. Surfaces are hand‑dyed by several makers in natural indigo, mud dye and cutch, producing a restrained tie‑dyed pattern and a looped, tactile surface. The maker describes the pieces as made with meditation and love; they function as trivets or pot holders and can also be kept as small objects of quiet attention. Hand-wash with care and stretch flat to dry; keep out of direct sun. These are naturally dyed and intended for use in the home.
