Handwoven from 100% kudzu vine—locally called “Kheuapiad” (Pueraria phaseoloides)—this wide‑stripe indigo tote is lightweight and structurally resilient. The vine grows wild in northern Laos without cultivation, irrigation, or chemicals; Khmu villagers have long used the fiber for carrying crops and tools. The bag measures roughly 40 × 38 cm (65 cm with handles) and retains a compact, open form suited to market runs, gym gear, books, or as a carry‑on. Made on a fair‑trade basis, each piece will vary slightly. Care: hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, put weight inside to prevent shrinkage, and hang by the strap to dry.
