Senegalese Lidded Hamper Baskets: Large

Handwoven from locally harvested millet grass, these lidded hampers present a sculptural silhouette and considered construction. Woven in Mekhe, Senegal by master artisans within a multigenerational practice, each piece is reinforced with colorful plastic thread for added durability and a graphic accent. The large measures 15" diameter x 22" high (small: 14" diameter x 16" high). Ethically crafted in Senegal; because each basket is handmade, slight variations in weave, color, and scale may occur.
